Mall Security

At Eastern Hills Mall, providing a safe and secure shopping environment is our top priority. To accomplish the goal, a 15 member team of security officers has been put into place. This along with an Erie County Sheriff's sub-station on site, and an excellent working relationship with the New York State Police allows this center to provide our customers, employees, and visitors with an increased security presence. 

Each security officer is New York State Certified and receives training in:

• Communications Procedures
• Missing Children
• Crowd Control
• Accident & Property Damage
• Crime & Incident Reporting
• Public Relations
• Powers of Arrest
• First Aid & CPR
• Evacuation Procedures
• Emergency Procedures

In addition to foot patrol inside the mall, security officers also use mobile units and bicycles to patrol the exterior of the mall.
